Blake Havard announces brand new single 'You Make it Right', a song impeccably timed to uplift fans and music lovers in 2023.

Like many musicians from Alberta, Blake Havard heard about the music scene breaking out of the West Coast/Vancouver in the 90s. Nobody really remembers when Blake rolled into town, but in very short order he was writing, producing and recording some of the finest indie rock in Vancouver.

Over the years Blake has earned the respect of a who’s who on the music scene. Be it members of The Foo Fighters, Bryan Adams’ band or Bob Dylan’s band to name a few. When Blake called, they all turned up to lend their talents.

And that gets us to where we are today. Brand new music from Blake Havard. ‘You Make it Right’ is an uptempo song about unconditional love in a world gone wrong.

The all-star musical backing on the song comes courtesy of two veterans of Bryan Adams’ band with a liberal dose of Hammond organ and keyboards courtesy of legend John Webster. Produced by Blake, the project was mixed and engineered by Hayden Watson (Bryan Adams Grammy nominated “So Happy it Hurts” ).
